really did not want us there but the Lord is so much bigger! AMEN! Our group
was split up and we went to different schools and then we had a group that went
to a near by small town, we showed the movie on Monday to all of the
8th and 9th graders in my school, the response was pretty good from the kids .
Then when we got to the school on Tuesday there were no kids in school (good
try satan!) they were on strike because of something going on with the principle.
We ended up going to the hostel where some of the kids stay which was an
amazing blessing because we got to talk to all grades of kids it was a total
blessing in disguise. Then on Wednesday we went to hostel again, that is when I
met Nana and a group of other girls it was really great to talk with them
openly about abstinence and HIV and stuff that goes on with them because they
don’t really get to talk about with other people.

On Thursday we had the opportunity to go into the classrooms and talk with the
kids about the movie and how it related to them and get them thinking about
some stuff. When Friday came around we decided to split up the girls and boys
and talk with them separately. 3 other leaders and I talked with about 30 girls
about their dreams for life, the difference between love and lust, the
redemption that the Lord can bring, and some of the myths about boys, sex, and
HIV. At the end of the afternoon most of the girls in the class decided to abstain
until they are married. Also about 14 girls gave their lives to Christ it was
amazing to see how God worked throughout the week!
the town stepped up and had the courage to get tested!!

Man oh man. God is not done working in Somerset.
