So we are about two months into this thing and God is doing
great things. In discipleship we have
learned about so much, from teachings on the Beatitudes or The Sermon on the
Mount to learning about who God really is and who we are IN Him. The teachings have been great, the Lord is
better equipping me for ministry through discipleship AHHH I love learning
about this stuff! Right now we are
learning about some of the basic foundational principles of the Christian faith
and from that I will be writing my statement of faith. Next we are studying fasting and one of the
things we are fasting from next week is communication so I will no be able to
get online at all next week to post another blog. I’m excited for fasting.

As far as ministry goes, it is going really good for the
most part…haha. This week I got to weigh
babies and work alongside one of the nurses!! It was amazing! Then earlier in the week a 90-year-old woman
came in who had a stroke and went into a coma, we talked with her family and
prayed with them and them Andrea sat with them for the rest of the day. We went the next day to the hospital to visit
her and she had passed away. Lena
had a long life, but it’s snaps of reality like that that make the clinic…the
clinic. God is so present in the clinic;
in the bad and good He is slowly shedding light. Just keep the patients, workers and
volunteers in your prayers. Also I just
want to give props to my ministry partners Layne and Andrea are awesome! We are
all so different and that makes for a great dynamic amongst us. Our ministry leader Aaryn is awesome too, she
worked in the clinic last year so she has been giving us advice and she has
been great about encouraging us. In
short…ministry is good.

Beautiful Jay Baai!

Speaking of awesome team members…our team has been having SO
much fun! Last weekend it was Gail’s birthday and we had a crazy good time with
my BANANA SUIT haha! Then yesterday we had a “Halloween” party even though it’s
springtime here, we all dressed up and our friends from LXP and YWAM came. There were SO many people there; it was a
crazy good time! We played some wild
games and got our groove on with all our homies! We do some crazy stuff for fun around
here…it’s wonderful! Basically life here
is great, trying at times but great. I’m
learning, and growing.

  3. Dearest Brittany, This is the first I’ve looked at your blog and as always, you never cease to entertain. It sounds like you are truely following God’s leadership. That’s awesome. I know it’s already changing your life profoundly. Keep putting Satan behind you as he is a stumbling block.
