Okay, so I’m reading through the Bible and I read Number 9 the other
night, this is the part about the cloud! i love the cloud! It’s so
inspiring! So here’s the basis; the Israelites are walking around the
wilderness because God is leading them out of Egypt into the Promise
Land, and God talks to Moses and it’s REALLY amazing! Anyway,
they have built this Tent of Testimony and all of this stuff where God
dwells. So this cloud is just chillin’ above the tent, just sitting
there and when it moves the Israelites move, they follow this cloud because they know that it’s Gods way of leading them on their journey. This cloud is leading and protecting them, just as God does with us.
“Whenever the cloud lifted from above the Tent, the Israelites set out; wherever the cloud settled, the Israelites encamped.”
Numbers 9:17
The faith of these people inspires me. I want to follow the cloud. Where God wants me, I want to be. However long He wants to be there, I want to be. I have no desire to please anyone but Him, this life a speck on eternity and I know God wants me to use this time for Him. This trip is my way of following The cloud.
