I cannot even begin to tell you.  I am getting so excited for the World Race, my sleeping bag was delivered to the office last week, I got it out and crawled into it and got comfy!  It felt like home, which it will be for 11 months 🙂

It has been so fun getting to know my squad a little bit over facebook and what not.  So each squad that has been on the World Race is identified by a letter in the alphabet.  We are the “O” Squad…
OH what’s going to happen?
OH, so excited to embark on this adventure!
OH can’t wait to meet my team!

OH, I still gotta raise $6,000!

OH I hope I pack enough underwear.
OH this is really happening!!!
OH the God I serve is a big God!

OOOOH!!

Before actually leaving on the World Race we have a training camp for about ten days in Georgia.  Training camp is only 47 days, I can’t believe that this is right around the corner!  In preparing for this mission I am in need of support, I have sent out some letters and have heard back from many of you.  I want to thank you so much for all of your support financially and in prayer, I have had a lot of encouragement while I have been here in Georgia all of you back home as well as my community here.  When I sent out my letter about a month or so ago I was in need of $10,000 dollars, at this point I am still in need of $6,000 dollars, and I am trusting the Lord to provide every penny.

I know that the Lord is going to continue to move as He launches me into the next eleven months.  I was reading a book a couple of weeks ago called The Happy Intercessor by Beni Johnson and there was a quote from it that describes really well what the Lord is doing in me and where I am at.
“I began to feel like something
was being pulled out of me and
that something was being
activated in me”

I read this and so identified.  I can see and hear and I have read in His Word about who I am, and what He has created me for.  I have learned that there is a difference between knowing my identity in Christ and actually walking in it, and He is showing me what that looks like.

Each one should use whatever gift he(she) has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.
