will be doing for next week. This Friday I leave for a place called
Summerset East, we will be helping to put on a program called Beat the
Drum. Beat the Drum is actually a movie about a young boy who is dealing
with AIDS and doesn’t know what it is. The film follows his journey in
learning about HIV and how it affects him. There is curriculum that goes
with the movie set up to educate all ages of people about AIDs and
HIV. Well one of my leaders this year named Holly felt called to
help run one of these this year and Summerset was where God led to. We
will be working in multiple schools and a prison to educate children and adults
alike about what HIV and AIDs is, how it affects them and if they are positive,
how they can live with it.

I just want to ask if y’all could life up the town of Summerset
East over this next week. Pray for the minds of
the people, that they would understand how important this is. Pray the
people who are HIV and AIDs positive that they would be open to the options we
can present to them. Pray for the men and women, kids and adults that
will be tested site and don’t even know they are positive yet, pray that God
would be working on their hearts and that we can point them to Christ, love
them, and meet their needs as best we can. Pray for the whole team’s
spirits, that we can represent Christ to these people.
Bobo, you know we will be praying. Thank you for being our feet since we can not be there with you and sharing all that is most important for the sake of Christ. Looking forward to the report on the back end of the trip. -Jeff
